How to light the Menorah. On the first evening of Chanukah, place a candle in the first indentation on the right side of the menorah. On the second evening, replace this with another candle and add a new one to its left. On the third day, continue with an additional candle on the left. Continue each evening, adding another candle alongside the others. Always kindle the new light first and continue along the line.
