These handmade Tefillin straps (Retzuot), produced from the hide’s upper section are used for high quality Tefillin. They carry a recognized Kashrut seal confirming their production in accordance with all the relevant stringent laws. Note – they are painted black on both sides. Although it is adequate if only the upper side is painted black, today, many have accepted a stringency for black paint to be applied on both sides.
