This pewter Mezuzah incorporates many Jewish motifs in its design. At the top is the holy letter “shin”. At the base, is an engraving of the Choshen – the twelve stone Breastplate worn by the High Priest when he performed the Service in the Beit Hamikdash. The translation of the Hebrew names of the twelve stones is obscure. The Hebrew names are inscribed on this Mezuzah case: Odem, pitida, bareket, nofech, sapir, yahalom, leshem, shevo, achlama, tarshish, shoham and Yashfeh. May they be a source
